Meet The Team!

Kyle is the Head Trainer and Owner of River Bottom Retrievers.  His love of training dogs was established at an early age through the training of family pets to do home made agility courses.  This love of dogs and training always seemed to be around as he grew up and attended Auburn University.  While at Auburn, Kyle trained several hunting retrievers for himself and friends and then ultimately got interested into the hunt test game.  Training these dogs is his passion!

Dennis is Kyle's Dad, and after retiring has come out to help out around the kennel!  Dennis was a cutting horse trainer earlier in life and has always had a knack with dogs as well.  Be it helping out with obedience dogs, throwing ducks for the gun dogs, or anything in between; Dennis is a huge asset and helps to ensure that your dog has the utmost care and training while with us!
